The Law of Liberty

All Things Desire to Express Their Nature and Choice

The universe is a place of endless possibility and potential. Each life unit has an instinctive sense of liberty and freedom of choice. All creatures seek the freedom to express their nature and exercise their choices. We know this intuitively to be true. No creature can thrive under conditions of captivity, oppression, or tyranny as these are contrary to the law of liberty.

The law of liberty states that to impose one’s will upon another person is counter-productive to both parties and has karmic consequences. Higher will is not imposed upon anyone, for to impose one’s ego-will upon another is an unlawful path to choose. (This is not to suggest, however, that the will of a parent imposed upon a child, when based in love, is contrary to the Law of Liberty).

Also implied within the Law of Liberty is the need to own our decisions and take full responsibility for our life’s circumstances. The more one sees that they alone—and their actions alone—are the pivotal causes of how their life’s path has unfolded, the more empowered they become. For even if we are held in captivity, if we are oppressed, or we are facing death, the Law of Liberty states that our will can never truly be conquered, such as it is.
